Hello all, and thanks to the team for the new compiler release.
the docs shows new classpath you can see in 7350_JavaFXSDK_labdoc document (javafx.gui instead of javafx.ui ..).
Does it means that solve LinearGradient and do, do later problems I found in the previous release?
Just another question about threading:
Is it thread safe to extends to acces a model ( where there are gui parameters ) by a javafx's thread extented class?
Can we use javafx class in a threadPool?
so, i'm very impatient to test the new compiler release!!

For infos about my not so bad working config:
Vista + jdk6u10+netbeans 6.1
latest javaFx plugin + latest compiler binaries in \NB_INSTALL\javafx\modules\ext\compiler\lib
note: preview is working only on single files projects (package - info problems)
perhaps with new release...

Ok after feiw testing linear gradient and preview are working with the new gui api.

But do and do .. later don't work, the compiler say cannot find symbol, i don't know why.
If someone have an idea, and if, can we wait it for the final compiler release.

For threading question, if two threads refresh synchronously a variable wich is triggered and modify awt binding, what appends? Does we have to synchronize triggers?

I'm sorry about theses questions and my english but i'm currently working on a industrial UI based on javaFX and i need help...!

Thanks in advance for your reply,

JavaFX Script libraries are not threadsafe, so treat them as if they were Swing libraries (on the desktop Swing is underneath, but that isn't necessarily true on other platforms). If you need a threadsafe design, you'll need to use the java.util.concurrent classes or something similar.
