My Xlet starts twice...

I'm testing with Power DVD 7.3. I clean up the javalog.txt file, and run my project.

The Xlet loads and usually shows the ClassNotFoundException (sometimes it loads the class and gives a Security Exception), and then stops the thread and restarts again. The second time works perfectly. This disc works also in the PS3 but not in a lot of Hardware players.

does anybody knows why the application auto restarts and why it doesn't find the class the first time?
That class is in the same jar as the Xlet.

Well. I'm desperate. If I don't fix this quickly I will have to make the BD in HMDV, and I hate it.

Thanks for your help in advance.
Regards.
Moises.

Hi Moises,

Have you tried your app with the other two software players (TMT and WinDVD)? The last time I checked (before JavaOne), the TMT trial version on the web supported debug output, and Corel is willing to support developers if you contact them directly. These players all behave differently.

I haven't seen your particular situation before, and it sounds quite strange. Further debugging should give a better clue, feels to me.

Best,
Chihiro

Thanks for the response.
No I don't try the other players, but I going to get a License of windvd asap.

I've discover that my aplication starts twice in the Power DVD but not in the Ps3 or in the Panasonic DMP-BD30 (I used the local storage to test) so it's a problem of the power DVD.

Regards.
