UiStub and FXD files

Ok, I have just returned from JavaOne, pretty psyched about what JavaFX might be able to do.

While there, I attended a demonstration by xxx showing off apparently very new functionality to allow developers and designers to work together better. These tools allowed designer code to go in an external FXD file (soon to be fxg, binary) to be added to the engineer's code, allowing seperation of concerns.

Anyone know where I can find more info on FXD and the Ui Stub uses? This is the piece that could very well make JFX work for my uses...

Sorry, I meant to say a demonstration by Pavel Benes and Martin Brehovsky.

Someone must know something!

What we have shown is at this point an experimental stuff. Nevertheless we should release the bits together with the JavaFX SDK preview release due at the end of June/early July. Please sign up for it at www.javafx.com.

Looking forward to it - honestly, this was the most exciting thing I saw at JavaOne - while I think it has a way to go, seeing someone actually work on the problem of separating the designer from the engineer, in a way that they can effectively work together is one of the holy grails of software engineering..
