RenderedImage Viewer (Rivi) 1.6 released
Rivi is a swing component for viewing very big images.
Rivi uses asynchronouos tile loading to keep GUI responsible and has very low memory requirements.
Tiles which are currently not needed (not in visible rectangle due to user scrolling) are removed from queue, so resulting in ever better rendering speed.
Rivi was sucessfully tested with 68000 x 57000 TIFF image (ca. 3 GB uncompressed).
