I am looking for an easy mechanism of putting reporting statements in my Java code. Is something similar to log4j is available for this. It should be as simple as putting a few imports and then calling myReport.put(blah) throughout the code.

Any info would be of great help

Hi anand.

It's not clear what you mean by "reporting statements". If you mean reporting tools, then another tool is Docmosis http://www.docmosis.com/. Your mention of log4j implies you might be after something else though.

Check out Windward Reports, its Java Reporting Engine is really easy to integrate into your code, typically requring only 3 lines of code.
