Hi

There was shadowfilter in interpreted javafx, but I saw that it is not included in compiled javafx. Will it be added into filters in compiled version?

I am not sure if this is related this forum but I couldn't get an answer from the compiler development mail-list, don't know where to ask.

The JavaFX Script class libraries (including the filter aka effect
classes) are going through a bit of an overhaul at the moment and will
see a number of API changes. The short answer is yes, all of the
effects (including shadow) being developed under the scenegraph-
effects project, now and in the future, will be exposed in the JavaFX
Script libraries.

Thanks.

I know timing questions would be boring but can I ask for an approximate answer, would it be before May?

Someone showed me DropShadow class. I was looking for a class with the same name, ShadowFilter and didn't notice DropShadow before. It seems to work for me now.

thanks
