Build fails when using ant directly

I just checked out scenegraph and scenegraph-effects (the latter as a side effect of the first) and tried to use 'ant' to do the build. Yeah I know the README says to use netbeans, I want to use ant.

It fails saying: .../effects/Decora-Dist/nbproject/build-impl.xml:79: Platform is not correctly set up

Line 79 of that file does some checking whether platform.javac and other properties are properly set up, and it looks like the definition of those properties are deriving from netbeans environment settings.

So how is someone to do a build in a script environment outside netbeans?

From which directory are you calling 'ant'? I would not expect to
see that error if you are doing:

% cd scenegraph
% ant

since the default scenegraph build doesn't have anything to do with
the Decora-Dist project. If you are not planning to build the GPU
backends for scenegraph-effects, then the above two commands should be
all you need to get a full Scenario build.

Thanks,
Chris
