Hi, I am trying to add a Glassfish v2 runtime and I am having problems in first screen where I select JDK 6.0 as JRE and D:/glassfish-2.0ur1 as AppSrv directory. And it complains with this message all the time (it doesn't matter any change I do):

Missing classpath entry D:\glassfish-2.0ur1\lib\appserv-rt.jar

Why is this message? I don't understand i have to add it, but in fact, I have that JAR file in system CLASSAPTH already, but the message stills appearing.

I have serached the web and haven't found anybody with this problem.

Thanks in advance,

Chemi.

Hmm. When I had this error I had an version where a setup.xml was in the glassfish folder. It appears that this is an ant build file.
After I run ant -f setup.xml twice the files where unpacked.

I have done the same test starting from scratch with latest versions:
- Eclipse R3.4M5
- WTP 3.0M5
- Glashfiss Adapter downloaded from WTP wizard.

Same problem... :-(

Nobody is facing this? I don't have any problem using Geronimo and Tomcat.

Thanks,

Chemi.

Same problem for me. It seems that a lot of libraries originally deployed as jars on /lib folder are now with a strange suffix (*.jar.pack.gz), including there appserv*.

Anyone has a clue about this?

Thanks in advance, and Best Regards

Thank you guys. Both were right, I missed that final configuration step. Now it is working...
