Does BD-J Live support Java Media Framework (JMF) and RTP services for live real-time video/audio reception over the Internet on a BD-J Live enabled Blu-Ray player?
BD-Live supports a feature called "progressive playlists" that can be used in conjunction with other BD-J APIs to support a form of video streaming. Progressive playlists are accessed like other playlists - using the JMF APIs - but it's not "JMF-style video streaming" in the sense of creating a URL that refers to an RTP server, and feeding that URL to a JMF Player instance. Instead, you have to do a little more work at the application level to manage the progressive playlist mechanism.
