Is the Map ID used for the search index topic

The name of our product has been changed, and I am trying to rebrand
everything in the JavaHelp using a HAT. Everything is fine except for
the legacy name in the search index. Is my deduction correct that the
search index is taken from the map IDs and that I have to change all the
map IDs to the new name to get rid of the legacy product name?

TIA,

Diane

I don't think the names of hte map IDs have an influence. Just re-run
jhindexer (or use whatever feature your HAT has to create the search
database) and the product name should disappear in the search results
(as long as the name doesn't appear in your help files).
