Contact information for Corel updated March 31, 2008 -- billf

Dear all,

I have some contact information for BD-J developers who are interested in
requesting PC-based Blu-ray players for doing development...

Corel - WinDVD

Corel WinDVD supports remote debugging functionality in its
"reference player" implementation. The reference player is
supplied under NDA to qualified studio and authoring house
partners. For more information please contact Colwin Chan
at colwin.chan@corel.com

Cyberlink - PowerDVD

Bob Wang
ask.bdj@cyberlink.com

ArcSoft - TotalMedia Theatre

Michael Downs
mdowns@arcsoft.com
http://www.arcsoft.com

Please don't read anything into the order I listed them;
it was determined purely by hazard (and my sometimes
haphazard e-mail inbox).

Best of luck, and have fun out there!

Cheers,

Bill

Anyone know of any Linux BD-J players?

Most of the standalone players are running Linux under the covers, but I
know of no Linux software apps for a Linux desktop. Nero seems to be
most proactive about DVD support on Linux, so you might inquire with them.
