Hi,

When I run JXTA examples, or my own application, I get the following warning. Does anyone know how to get rid of this? Is this a known issue?

You need jxtashell.jar of the matching JXTA build on your classpath, as discussed in this thread: http://forums.java.net/jive/thread.jspa?messageID=258555

It does solve the problem, but now, the JXTA shell opens automatically when I start my application... this is not great !!! I'll just not include that JAR and live with that... !!!

That's really strange that in your apps the JXTA Shell actually launches... it doesn't happen on mine.

But here's a question building on this - can someone explain exactly why jxtashell.jar has to be included at all?
