Hello,

Based on this anounce: http://www.st.com/stonline/press/news/year2005/t1716h.htm, on December 7, 2005, STMicroelectronics announced the availability of ST20 J-Engine, a highly optimized Javaâ„¢ Virtual Machine (JVMâ„¢) for the ST20 CPU, based on the Sun Java Connected Device Configuration HotSpotâ„¢ Implementation software.

Any information about some port the this platform , or a contact person at SUN or ST, would be very helpful.

Hi Hugo,

I've forwarded your request to someone internal here at Sun to hopefully
help answer your question about CDC-HI on the ST20.

Thanks,

Hinkmond

Hinkmond,

Thank you.

In fact, I will use the ST40 cpu, not the ST20, but I think this is not an issue.

The ST40 is nothing like the ST20. The ST40 is an SH4 risc processor. The ST20 is...well...it's very hard to describe. Let just say it's not like any other processor I've seen.

Ok Chris,

Well, my mistake... (not enough research....)

Thank you for the update.
