Hello all,

I would like to make a jxtable like the swingx demos.
For example, when i press keys of a word , i would like to have filtering in live.
The swing x demo with jxtable demonstrate exactly what i want but i didn't find the source code of
swingx.jnlp. Can someone give me the direct link of the source code please ?

Thanks

just to let you know: I did restore the table examples (and the oldbinding lib) - it was simply to much effort to keep my local workspace in synch otherwise.

OK. I tried to do that this past weekend, but to be honest couldn't figure out where it went. :( I thought that I had deleted it by accident. Thanks for checking that in.

Hi Kleopatra,

I tried to checkout the swinglabs demos but the "automated builds" link on the page
https://swinglabs-demos.dev.java.net/ points to nowhere.

I there a source code for the swingx samples on http://swinglabs.org/demos.jsp page?

I'm looking for the source code too.
I downloaded almost everything on http://swinglabs.org/hudson/ page, and
[swinglabs-demos] / src / java / org / jdesktop / demo / swingx
https://swinglabs-demos.dev.java.net/source/browse/swinglabs-demos/src/j...

But I cannot run the demo because I got many compile errors and missing libraries.

Can someone please upload the source code in a jar file or give me a link where I can download the source code in jar file.

Thank you very much.

hmm ... checkout from cvs of the swinglabs-demos should be okay (and
works for me, but then I'm not using Netbeans ). As far as I
know, the required libs are updated automatically. There might be
compile errors in parts unrelated to the actual demoing code, try to run
the SwingXDemo in the swingx package, "should" work. Ehem ... a bit
neglected as we are considering to switch over to use the SwingSet3
demoing framework (lame excuse for allowing a project to rot ;-)

Cheers

Hi Jeanette,
Thanks for response. Just wanted to make sure we're looking at the same page. Can you please give the link that you downloaded the working-demo, and updated lib?

Again, this's the link that I downloaded the source code from:
https://swinglabs-demos.dev.java.net/source/browse/swinglabs-demos/src/j...

Please look at SwingXDemo.java class:
public class SwingXDemo extends DemoPanel

SwingXDemo extends DemoPanel, but where's DemoPanel class?

I'm a newbie, please give more details as you can. Thank you for your help.

One package higher. If you obtain the entire project via CVS, you will get all files and dependent libs.

where did you look? You can either download from the download page at
swinglabs.org or checkout from cvs of the swingx project at dev.java.net
:-) Thinking about it, maybe you want the sources of the demo, they are
in the swinglabs-demos project, for checkout only, I think.

Thanks for your answer.
I have search in cvs, i didn't find anything .
Checkout ?? Does it means that we must pay for having the source ?

thanks

no. "checkout" is the term used to get code out of the cvs (don't nail
me .. could be wrong) Simply go to the swinglabs-demos cvs repository
and follow the instructions of how to use your favorite tool to copy all
the stuff in there onto your local computer. Hmm ... could be that the
table demo is under unused src hierarchy - it's had been moved over
there temporarily during cleanup, not sure if it is already back (Karl?)

It has not yet been restored to the "used" section. You can find the table demo in the unused section.

Thanks you very much but i must be stupid.

I didn't find the code source.

I have tested [swinglabs-demos] / src / unused / org / jdesktop / demo / sample / SimpleJXTableDemo.java
But it is not what i want.

Because my english is bad, i have taken a capture. I'm looking for the source of this capture. When a user type the word , filter is automatic.

http://img151.imageshack.us/my.php?image=hopezu8.jpg

I have tried JXTableDemoPanel.java SwingXDemo.java in this section [swinglabs-demos] / src / unused / org / jdesktop / demo / swingx but it seems i haven't all librairies.
Missing :
import org.jdesktop.binding.*
import org.jdesktop.demo.swingx.*
import com.jgoodies.forms.builder*

Is there another librairies ? I have installed swingx-0.9.1.jar.

Thanks in advance

All of the required jars should be in the lib directory.
