Hi there,
I am new to jmaki and trying to load data into a page using JSON. I have jmaki.js and yahoo widget in ../resources and I know it works because if I hard code the values the table is being displayed. If I load data from JSON I am getting a javascript error jmaki is undefined. My widget looks like this

Can someone please help me.

Thanks,

Hi,

Is the JSON data double quoted? If so it could be causing an error.

Jennifer has blogged about this here:

Let me know if this still doesn't help.

Hi Greg,
Yes I followed Jennifer's example and used createBooks class to convert to JSON data. However, if I use the service class then my page renders correctly. So I think I will be going with this solution.

Also, wondering if you can point me to an example of using Yahoo/DOJO tree in Java.

Thanks for your response and help.
