Autocomplete ComboBox - 'Contains' search rule

Hi everybody

I'm using org.jdesktop.swingx.autocomplete.AutoCompleteDecorator in order to enable automatic completion for JComboBox.

In SwingX javadoc I found a simple example about using this. In this example, when an user enters first letters of someones name in the text field of JComboBox, this name will be selected -> this is 'Begins with' search rule. I would like to select someones name by typing letters that are 'in the middle' of the name - 'Contains' search rule.

Is it possible to configure AutoCompleteDecorator in order to replace this search rule with 'Contains' search rule?

Thanks,
Danijel

Not currently. You can file an enhancement request, but that sounds like a post-1.0 activity to me.

Please file SwingX specific bugs in the correct location:
https://swingx.dev.java.net/issues/

Bugs under SwingLabs general site are not as frequently reviewed.
