When will 6uN be released?

I had read some time ago that 6uN was planned to release as Java 6 update 3 or 4. Update 4 is now available and it appears it is not update N. I had also read that December 2007 was the target for update N to be released.

Is any of that accurate?

When will update N release as a full Java 6 update?

We are trying to figure out deployment for a release of our product that is targeted for March and update N makes it MUCH easier because of our use of JAXB 2.1.

6uN will be released as 6u10. There will most likely be a gap in release numbers, meaning you may not see releases like 6u8, or 6u9.

The next build, build 10, has been made available:
https://jdk6.dev.java.net/6uNea.html

For the specific Kernel information we have added to the FAQ:
https://jdk6.dev.java.net/6uNfaq.html#JKernel

also, there is now a schedule for 6uN on the top of the 6uNea page.

According to the Update 4 release notes, it looks like JAX-WS 2.1 has been integrated (it includes JAXB 2.1, doesn't it?)...
