Is the source code for the JavaFX Eclipse plugin available? If so where? If not, could we get a timeline of when it might be available?

There are quite a few of us who prefer Eclipse over Netbeans. Please, let us help make the Eclipse plugin better!

Staying tuned... No answer?

The current plugin doesn't explicitly support Eclipse 3.3 which has been the release version of Eclipse for many months. The plugin is apparently not being kept up. Is there a reason behind the lack of news or progress on this plugin?

Some of us have a strong preference for Eclipse over Netbeans. I know you guys like to push Netbeans, but please don't leave us Eclipse users suffering with old code. The least you could do would be to open source the plugin, and let the community keep the plugin up to date.

Last I heard, there were still some legal issues (that is, from Sun's legal Dept.) surrouding opening the plugin, but I suspect like you that it is the corporate preference for Netbeans.

I hate redoing work, but we could always start our own, I suppose.

Anatoli, any comments?

Pat.

Starting from scratch, crossed my mind at some point of frustration with netbeans...

Has there been any further consideration on this? Is there a time frame we could look forward to?
