javac does not print the stack trace of exceptions that are thrown by annotation processors, not even in -verbose mode. Why? e.g. it just prints this when I use -verbose option:
----
Round 1:
input files: {sahoo.EmploymentRecord}
annotations: [javax.persistence.Embeddable]
last round: false
error: Exception thrown while constructing Processor object: java.lang.NullPointerException
----

It does not even tell which AnnotationProcessor threw the exception.

Thanks,
Sahoo

I found another forum where people seem to be answering questions related to annotation processing. So I am moving this discussion to there [1].
