Can any one from Java Community would know or recommend me a book to achieve the following:
to display a map using MIDP/Midlet in J2ME in cell phone or emulator. Further to be able to find the location’s Longitude and Latitude.

I appreciate your advise,
Best regards,

I am sure there are books on the market already but one that will cover all of MSA 248 (including location API, etc) will be Jonathan Knudsen's forthcoming book http://kickbutt.jonathanknudsen.com/

Please take a look at the Sample GPS app for Java ME at https://meapplicationdevelopers.dev.java.net/mobileajax.html - "This project contains a sample midlet that retrieves its GPS coordinates from an external GPS receiver via Bluetooth. The coordinates are then used to retrieve a map image centered at the coordinates from Yahoo's map image API."

Thank you for your quick response. I saw the sample project for GPS and Map display. Would know a book that covers all of that?

Best Regards,
