Sanaware Java Docking 1.3
Sanaware is pleased to announce version 1.3 of its Java Docking library. The library allows developers to easily manage dynamic dragging of Swing components. Static applications can be turned into flexible environments that users can tune to their needs and preferences. The library provides all the necessary components, ranging from simple draggable buttons in toolbars, all the way to multiple floating frames in complex layouts.
Java Docking distinguishes itself from other projects in a number of ways. The library is completely built on interfaces. You can use the implementations provided by the library, with line docks, grid docks, border docks, etc. If you wish, you can also easily extend it with your own implementations for docks, minimizers, maximizers, component factories, etc. With a minimal amount of code you can create a UI that looks like Eclipse or IntelliJ. You can even keep your favourite look and feel.
Java Docking comes with extensive documentation, samples, and source code.
Java Docking is distributed under a dual license: the GNU General Public License (GPL), or a commercial license. Developers can choose whichever is most suited for their needs.
