According to the CDC Runtime Guide all you have to do in order to run an Xlet is this:

cvm com.sun.xlet.XletRunner -name gui.MainFrm -path "\Storage Card\CDC_App2.jar"

A shortcut file (lnk) is being used to launch the sample app, which contains the following:

254#"\Storage Card\phoneme\cdc\bin\cvm.exe" com.sun.xlet.XletRunner -name gui.MainFrm -path "\Storage Card\CDC_App2.jar"

Upon tapping the shortcut in File Explorer nothing happens. Is there an error log that can be found which indicates what went wrong? Does the binary version of phoneMe Advanced MR2 for WM5 support the running of Xlets?

Should there not be any support for Xlets at present for WM5, what are the current plans to support it in the future?

Hi,

That's an error in our documentation for pMEA MR2 for WM5. We should
say that Xlets at present are not supported.

I will cc our doc writer so that he knows.

Thanks,

Xlet feature is part of the personal basis profile.
The graphical portion of basis is not supported
yet for Win Mobile 5.0.

There is a command line to direct where log files are written
"-Xopt:stdioPrefix=\Storage Card"
