I see that this phone http://www.utstar.com/pcd/view_phone_details.aspx?mcode=PCS1450&bID=79&s... is JAVA Capable, but I can not find any java documentation for it.

Does anyone know if/how I can put my own java programs on this phone ?

The only thing I can get out of the vendor is "I never said it couldn't run 3rd party applications, just that we don't support it."

The site is really very skimpy on information. If doesn't even list whether the phone is MIDP 1 or MIDP 2 compliance. Assuming it is MIDP 2 compliant you can, at minimum, do standard over-the-air (OTA) installations of MIDlets. This is part of the MIDP spec and so you can develop standard MIDlets via WTK or NetBeans Mobility.

Hope this helps,
