Hi,

classpath- C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03\lib\ext\QTJava.zip

path-C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03\lib\ext\QTJava.zip

I see two problems:

1: it should be: -classpath (you type it the other way around)

2: there are spaces in the text. You should place that text between double quotes.

So it should look like this:

-classpath "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03\lib\ext\QTJava.zip"

Hope this helps

hmm when i try to open up a certain application it says java is not reconized as a internal or external command. And when i go in command prompt and type in ipconfig andp ress enter it do the same thing. I changed my classpath and path to the following below like you said.

-path "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03\lib\ext\QTJava.zip
-classpath "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03\lib\ext\QTJava.zip

If you're getting unrecognised command complaints then your system (Windows I assume) can't find the java executables. Check the path again and make sure the JDK bin directory is on the path somewhere so that javac.exe and java.exe can be found. Change in the System properties under Advanced -> Environment variables so its system wide.
