Client Server Application Using Web Browser

hi,
i am trying to build a client server application by using a web browser in java but i need two things from java browser to do.
1) I want to make use of one local derived (web)services and a remote(web) service(perferably external).
2) i want to invoke at lease three remote methods that are implemented in the server class.

could you please tell me how can i do this?

Not having looked at your code very thoroughly, I would say, get Netbeans and set up a webservice to do this. Your client (GUI) could have multiple web service references so you can call all the different methods you want to from various places.
