After installing the latest ea build (#21) the java command line is broken:

U:\>java -version
Error: Registry key 'Software\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment'\CurrentVersion'

has value '1.7', but '1.7.0-ea-b21' is required.
Error: could not find java.dll
Error: Could not find Java SE Runtime Environment.

My attempt to fix it by putting the old 1.6 launcher on the path didn't work:

U:\>copy "c:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_02\bin\java.exe" C:\WINDOWS\system32\java.exe
Overwrite C:\WINDOWS\system32\java.exe? (Yes/No/All): yes
1 file(s) copied.

U:\>java -version
Registry key 'Software\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment\CurrentVersion'
has value '1.7', but '1.6' is required.
Error: could not find java.dll
Error: could not find Java 2 Runtime Environment.

Going back to the 1.6 launcher and changing the registry value to "1.6" allow you to run Java 7 with:

java -version:1.7.0 blah....

e.g.:

U:\>java -version:1.7.0 -version
java version "1.7.0-ea"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0-ea-b21)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 11.0-b07, mixed mode, sharing)

Yes this is an issue and will be fixed, I have filed an issue to track this,
and will be fixed as soon as its possible.

http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6611182
It will take some time for the above issue to become available on the web

The you can use for interim workaround:
c:\> java -version:1.7+ blah
without chaning the registry value.
