I am receiving below error in tomcat log when i started the tomcat after deploying the jaxws-supplychain.war in tomcat
after building and deploying the sample webservice supplychain.

I have taken following steps for the same:

1. set JAVA_HOME to C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_02
2. set JAXWS_HOME to base dir of JAXWS RI (JAXWS2.1.2-20070917)
3. copied jaxb-api.jar, jaxws-api.jar in C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_02\jre\lib\endorsed
4. ran "ant server -Dtomcat=true" in "jaxws-ri\samples\supplychain" folder
5. started tomcat server from C:\apache\apache-tomcat-6.0.10

I got it working.

I have taken following steps:

1. I placed all the JAXWS jars in apache-tomcat-5.5.23\common\endorsed folder.
2. On performing step 1 above, I started getting this error

SEVERE: Error configuring application listener of class com.sun.xml.ws.transport.http.servlet.WSServletContextListener
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/servlet/ServletContextAttributeListener

3. Then I copied(in fact duplicated) servlet-api.jar from apache-tomcat-5.5.23\common\lib folder to apache-tomcat-5.5.23\common\endorsed folder and it started working.

I had tried placing all JAXWS jar files in tomcat common/lib and lib folders. but of no advantage.
