Hi Chet,

are you interested in putting the release in the maven repository?

regards,

Wim

Hi,

Until all swinglabs subprojects are available in maven, you can use my third part repository :

I did not find other swinglab projects such as swingx in the repo you posted about.
Where can I find maven pom for swingx? Thanks.

Can't speak for Chet, but we want all swinglabs related binaries in Maven. We are currently trying to put everything in java.net maven repository which should be possible to do automatically, but either our poms or publishing there seems to be somehow broken. I'm waiting for response from anyone in charge to help me figure out what is causing the problem. When this is solved all swinglabs subprojects should be available in maven.

Cheers,
Jan

That is great news. Hopefully things will be moving soon.

Yeah, hopefully. Actually, this is a bit off topic to this list, but I can use a little help. There are swingx.pom and swingx-ws.pom files in the repositories of respective projects. If you can look at them and perhaps correct what is wrong there or fill in dependencies it would be great help. If you fix any of them, just create an issue on given project, attach fixed file to it and assign it to me directly. Thanks.

Are the files visible via Fisheye or viewCVS or something, I don't have CVS installed.

How will these poms be used? Will you switch to maven to build? When you will not switch, your pom does not need to be that extended. See http://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-central-repository-upload.html for info on that.

What are the 'Filters' and 'MultipleGradientPaint' dependencies? I would not use capitals in groupId's and artifactId's. I think everybody uses lower case for that.

Also, use 'org.swinglabs' as your groupId, this is the current recommended approach. And also I believe that
should be called (see http://maven.apache.org/guides/getting-started/maven-in-five-minutes.html)
