to find ads within a peergroup

Hi,

Two questions:
1..............
I met the following problems when testing a programm. What I would like to see is to find the advertisments (MCAs, PGAs) in any groups which I created.

I have initially a Rendevous Peer(RP1) and an Edge Peer(EP1) in NetPeerGroup and an Edge Peer (EP2) in appNetPeerGroup(self created). Both Edge Peer are connected to RP1.

At this time RP1 and EP1 could find all advertisments published by EP2.

But If I let EP1 join the appNetPeerGroup, which EP2 belongs to, then EP1 could find no advertisments from EP1 at all.

What is wrong? EP1 should be able to find ads published by EP2 when they are in the same groups, shouldn't it?

2.............
By using the command "join" I could make a peer be a member of a peer group. But when I use command "leave" the peer dosen't really leave the peer group. And with command "leave -k" the peers seems to leave the group, but many Exception Errors followed. Is it normal?

Thanks.

Regarding Question 2)

The leave command has two modes; one which resigns from the peergroup membership service and another (leave -k) which in addition to resigning from the peergroup also shuts the peergroup down. So it does sound lie you are using the right command. What Exception errors do you encounter when using 'leave -k'?

Hello,

1..............
I don’t see that the EP1 and EP2 belong to the same PeerGroup (I mean: to the appNetPeerGroup)

2.............
It don’t know, if using Shell is a right decision for yourOwnApp!
