Hi all !
We're trying to get Jxta running on Linux, but apparently it doesn't work. Anyone knows some good tutorials for Jxta on Linux ? Or any good idea for desperate newbies ?
Thx a lot,
You didn't mention whether you are trying to use JXTA JXSE (Java) or JXTA-C.
For JXTA JXSE the easiest way to get started is to follow the Programmers Guide : https://jxta-guide.dev.java.net/source/browse/jxta-guide/trunk/src/guide...
For JXTA-C there are detailed building instructions on the JXTA-C wiki at : http://wiki.java.net/bin/view/Jxta/HowToBuildJXTA-C
We use JXTA JXSE and finally managed to get it up and running. Thx a lot for your help !
If there was a key piece of information missing from the standard instructions or any advice you could suggest that would help others avoid the problems you encountered I am sure it would be very helpful to post it so that others might learn.
today is my FIRST day of using JXTA, ive got a project, to install JXTA over Fedora machine. First I installed JAVA SE Development Kit, Frankly i am NOT sure wether its installed properly or not, but as i installed its RPM, i hope that will work fine.
