thanks Kedar
when i used the glassfish to compile the session bean, it displayed
that package javax.ejb do not exit,javax.annotation do not exit,javax.interceptor
do not exit-------
i was follow every step in the book and start and test the glassfish installation.so i think maybe i donot set right classpath. that is reason why ask you how to set the classpath.
i will go back home to try and give you message.
thanks again!

Did you try to add /lib/javaee.jar to your compilation path?

You create the classpath for a server. So, setting ClassPath is "Server Phenomenon" not an
install-time artifact.

So, you can start the server:
- asadmin start-domain after doing the "ant -f setup.xml".
- Logon to admin console (http://localhost:4848 --> admin/adminadmin).
- Search for Application Server -> JVM -> Settings and add your classpath, as an absolutely value
to begin with (use ${path.separator} instead of ':' or ';').

Hope that helps.
