Hi,

I just downloaded the latest release of jmaki jmaki-java-0.9.7.jar

on this page https://ajax.dev.java.net/running.html it says
"Install jMaki and run a sample:
Download and unzip thejMaki stable release which includes jMaki core, widget toolkits and samples. "
where the "thejMaki stable release" is a link back to https://ajax.dev.java.net/download.html. Instead it would be nice to have an anchor on the https://ajax.dev.java.net/download.html maybe called #release and link to the anchor from running.html so I am taken directly to the release download section. Otherwise, that link is a bit frustrating as I kind of go in a circle and it wasnt very clear what download was assocatied with the link :-)

hth,
Sean

(also a small typo as you need a space between " thejMaki ")

Hi,

other small fixes...

1)
The readme inside the download bundle says
"Copy the build.properties.sample file to your user home build.properties."

but the https://ajax.dev.java.net/running.html for java bundle says
copy the build.properties.sample file into the samples directory naming it build.properties
Which is the proper location for me to put the build.properties, in samples diretcory or my home directory?

2) The readme inside the download bundle says to "Copy the build.properties.sample file ..." but it forgets to tell a user to rename the build.properties.sample to build.properties

3) the https://ajax.dev.java.net/running.html page says that I should run the ant target "deploy-all-java" but there is no such target in the build.xml file.

Can you please update the https://ajax.dev.java.net/running.html page to have the proper target name?

Sean

and another small fix...

the readme inside the download, in step 3 "Building and Deploying on Any Container" it should mention that you need to change to the samples directory, and then run an ant target
For example, in this snippet from readme ...
"
Or to deploy all the J2EE 1.4 or better samples:
***go to the jmaki\samples\ directory and then run
ant deploy-all-j2ee

If you are running on Glassfish deploy all samples using:
***go to the jmaki\samples\ directory and then run
ant deploy-glassfish

Thanks for the feedback Sean. I'll work on this over the weekend.
