I'm a newbie to jMaki and Rails. I'm trying to have a jMaki widget appear on a .dryml page. We're using the Hobo plugin. I've got the javascript included and the data is correct, but the table doesn't appear on screen. Does anyone have any experience with this?

thank you

Sorry, I know I'm not supposed to post to my own thread, but we figured out the problem. Hobo creates an application.dryml file that acts as the view template for all the pages. The body tag starts off as . The applyEvents method is the javascript that enables the inline editing of several types of fields. This conflicts with jMaki's use of onload. In the jmaki.js - they do onload overridding to "register" the widgets. So, to get Hobo and jMaki to play nice, we moved the Hobo.applyEvents() call to the end of the jmaki.js so that the jmaki widgets get rendered as intended and then Hobo can do its stuff. Not the most elegant solution, but it does work. We have not tested this with all the widgets available through jMaki.
