I'll keep this thread alive for information about the releases that are posted.
I just posted version .56 today. The only change since .55 is a minor bugfix to a Swing timer-ism that caused an initial delay to the animation equal to the resolution of the Animator. Now, the call to begin() should happen almost immediately after the Animator is start()ed.
Barring any further non-API bugfixes, this version is probably what will become 1.0. That's not to say there won't be other fixes and adjustments (API-affecting or not) to the library (some of them suggested on this forum), but that this is a reasonably solid and stable version of the library that seems suitable for 1.0.
For anyone toying with the Filthy Rich Clients demos, this version is compatible with that code.
