jMaki Ext.tree Problem resolving title / url

Hi,

i am using jMaki to create Extjs tree with static content.
Netbeans 6.0M10 and latest jMaki plugin.

and registered a listener for watching events:

jmaki.addGlueListener("/jmaki/menu", function(args) {
if (args.url) {
alert(args.url)
}
});

The tree is rendered ok.

The problem is that child 1 (Link1) and child 2 (Link) have the same url and title as child 3 in the args.url argument. If there are 1..n child's they all have the same url and title as the last child.

Thanks for your help.

I would like to know, is this bug already fixed? Otherwise nobody can use the tree!

Hi,

the trees follow a new data model which is described on the wiki data model pages.
Though the wiki seems to be down right now below is the new format for your example.

value="{
root : {
label : 'Uebersicht',
expanded : true,
children : [
{ label : 'Link 1', action : { message : 'index.jsp'}},
{ label : 'Link 2',
action : {message : 'test.jsp'}}
}
]
}
}"/>

For now the Ext tree appends the string 'onClick' to the topic name so to get this
to work you will need to set the dcontainer to subscribe to '/jmaki/menu/onClick'
in the example above. We are discussing the topic name and how the various
widgets use the subtypes (onClick in this case).

I did verify that the different nodes published the correct urls. So the bug is fixed.

to get around the fact that 'onClick' is appended to the topic name you can
have the dcontainer subscribe to "/jmaki/menu*" and you will get events
that are sent to both /jmaki/menu and /jmaki/menu/onClick and more.

We will fix the topic name issue in the next release.
