i'm working on a J2EE application and i need to create a file containing the content of one of the JSP files.
i need to pour the content of the web page (it's content after it was rendered, the way the client sees it) to an HTML page (it will help even if you know only how to extract the content to a variable)

thanks in advance

Can you get to the page directly from your browser?
If so you can simply use a URL object and then pipe the output from that straight into a file stream.

If You can not get to the page directly you could possibly hook something into the the listener framework of the webapp but it would depend on what you are trying to achieve.

Could you give some more details?
