Jvm hanging Issue

This is Sai, I have an application it is load balanced on 3 jvms and among those one of the jvm is hanging for some time and in the error logs it is showing....
JVMDG217: Dump Handler is Processing Signal 3 - Please Wait.
JVMDG303: JVM Requesting Java core file
JVMDG304: Java core file written to /opt/httpd/logs/apps/query/query-8759/javacore.20070521.213601.7192.txt
JVMDG215: Dump Handler has Processed Dump Signal 3.
JVMDG217: Dump Handler is Processing Signal 3 - Please Wait.
JVMDG303: JVM Requesting Java core file
JVMDG304: Java core file written to /opt/httpd/logs/apps/query/query-8759/javacore.20070522.032002.7192.txt
JVMDG215: Dump Handler has Processed Dump Signal 3.

What I can do inorder not to hang the jvm,Can any body please suggest.
Environment:
WebSphere Platform 5.1 [JDK 1.4.2 cxia321420-20040626] [ND 5.1.1.6 cf60531.02]
Host Operating System is Linux, version 2.4.21-47.ELhugemem
Java version = J2RE 1.4.2 IBM
Application server (WAS)
Webserver Tomcat
It would be a very great help.

Hi Sai,

This looks like a J9 specific question. Have you tried asking this
question on the IBM J9 forum?
