I am unable to do a cvs checkout of the wonderland files. I follow the instructions and do:

setenv CVSROOT :pserver:@dev.java.net:/cvs
cvs co lg3d-core lg3d-demo-apps

and get a "no such user" error. I even tried using my java.net login name (I am an observer
of the wonderland project, does that matter?) doing:

setenv CVSROOT :pserver:jslott@dev.java.net:/cvs

What am I missing?
Thanks much, Jordan

Thanks for picking that up - the missing username was there if you
read the source - it had just been turned into a tag somewhere along
the line and so wasn't being displayed.
Anyway I've fixed this and added the extra (and required) cvs login command.

Thanks again,

Kirk

Hi Jordan,

being an observer does not matter, it might help though. I am an observer on a totally different project and I am able to checkout wonderland.

I think one line is missing. After setting the environment you have to login using

cvs login

CVS will prompt for your password. Once your logged on you can checkout the project as you described.

Good luck

Nico

Yes! Thank you very much, perhaps we can update the docs on the main page about this?
