ImageIO in web application

Hi,

I use ImageIO and JAI in a web application on tomcat. I added the ImageIO and JAI jars and dlls to the lib directory of the war file. Sometimes I get the following exception:

Caused by: java.util.NoSuchElementException
at javax.imageio.spi.FilterIterator.next(ServiceRegistry.java:804)
at javax.imageio.ImageIO$ImageReaderIterator.next(ImageIO.java:487)
...

After restart of tomcat the exception is gone (sometimes). I think it is a problem of classpath. Is it enough to put all jars and dlls in the WEB-INF/lib ? Please help.

Thanks,
Oliver

Hi Oliver,

I don't know especially about tomcat but so far I
guess it has to be configured somewhere. You should
consult Tomcat documentation about that.

The DLLs (Windows) or SO-Libs (Unix) have to be in
PATH (Windows) and LD_LIBRARY_PATH (Unix). This have
to be set during Tomcat startup.

Kind regards,
