The 2.5.1 release doesnt work on Linux distributions with older Glibc then 2.4. I wrote a (heated) blog entry at http://blog.konqueror.de/. Maybe a rebuild would be very wise.

Fly Home

Any one else had problems with the linux version. It won't recognise the jre directory even when i give it the right one but when i give it the bin directory it will pass this step but fail when it looks for the lib directory.

I had no problems on Ubuntu 6.10. Most of the sample apps working well with the WTK and so far, I also had no problems using it with NetBeans 5.5 and the Mobility Pack. Be sure to have all required Linux libraries on your system as described here: http://java.sun.com/products/sjwtoolkit/download-2_5_1.html
