Re: Initiating a call?

platformRequest("tel:....") method call is the one to use to make a
phone call. Check the return value, which tells you if the MIDlet has to
be closed before the call can be made (true if the MIDlet suite MUST
first exit before the content can be fetched).

There is no other call control methods in Java ME so answering an
incoming call with your MIDlet is not possible.

Subject: Initiating a call?

Hello everyone,

I am totally new to Java ME. Sending and receiving SMSs in JavaME is
kind of straightforward and there is a lot of information about it.
However, I can't seem to find anything regarding phone call control, eg,
placing or answering a call, this leads me to wonder if its really
possible to do so under JavaME. And that's my question, is there a way
to initiate or answer a phone call using JavaME?

Thanks a lot!
