I was told that there is a Java API that can be used to fetch a list of end-points from UDDI. I need to verify that:

1) Can you invoke this UDDI API from a Java stored procedure.
2) Can you invoke the Java stored procedure from a PL/SQL trigger.

Any links you can point me to that would possibly help?

Thanks,

Jason

The standard Java API for registries such as UDDI and ebXML RegRep is JAXR API:

http://java.sun.com/webservices/jaxr/index.jsp
http://jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=93

An implementation for UDDI may be available from Sun (I do not have details).

An implementation for ebXML RegRep is available in open source within the freebXML Registry project:

http://ebxmlrr.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Overview#What_is_freebXML_...

Best of luck.

You can use UDDI4J package to obtain endpoints etc from UDDI Registry.
Package is for download at https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=128810
You can find examples on how to implement it in UDDI4J site itself.
This package doesnot implement UDDIv3
