hello

i have a strange problem with the discovery client/server tutorial on the jxta.org site. I have two peers, one running windows xp sp2 and the other running fedora core 4. If i run the client on the xp machine and the server on the fedora box everything works fine; the advertisement gets discovered. But it doesn't work the other way around (xp server, fedora client)! The client keeps waiting and does not discover the server's advertisements.

I've disabled all firewalls.

This should work. You may want to look at your multicast configuration on your XP
box.
