I've installed glassfish b38 and the 0.4 plugin and am getting the below error when I attempt to deploy. Has anybody gotten the eclipse plugin to work with glassfish v2?

thanks

There is a patch. See http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/patches/drops/R2.0.2/P-P20080308085...

I was able to install the patch and demo jMaki on GlassFsh v2 in my talk at EclipseCon.

I'm trying to figure this out as well can a user can deploy to a local or remote GlassFish app server with the Eclipse plug-in?

Same problem...

Eclipse 3.3.2
M20080221-1800

Running on a Mac OSX Leopard

Used to work on Eclipse 3.3.1, now I'm getting an NPE everytime I publish.

I am having the same problem. I was able (somehow) to publish with GlassFish build 33. Then I decided upgraded to build 38 and I started getting the problem again. So, I decided to rollback to build 33 and now I can't publish anymore.

Are you using a Linux distro? It seems like it is a bug when using Linux. https://glassfishplugins.dev.java.net/Eclipse/CurrentBugs.html

Has anyone had any luck getting around this?

BTW: I am having this problem running Ubuntu, Eclipse v3.2.1, and v0.4 of the plugin.

Hi,

I found out that the problem comes form " " spaces in the workspace path.
When I switch my workspace to a location with no spaces in the path name it seems to work well.
Also you can edit the "sunappsrv-ant.xml" file inside the "com.sun.enterprise.jst.server.sunappsrv_1.0.0.jar"
and add some "'" into the deploy script:
