I recently just installed looking glass on my laptop and it works great, but I am unable to hear sound and find any video players.
I am also curious, how do I find applications such as aim or internet browsers?

Thanks
Douglas

Hi Douglas,

What Operating System do you run LG3D on? If you have MS Windows you are limited to the "native" LG3D apps. On Linux (and Solaris I think) you should be able to use any X11 application within LG3D. Maybe this document is helpful for you: https://lg3d.dev.java.net/lg3d-getting-started.html

As Björn wrote, everything depends on OS you are using.

There are some great build-in 3D apps in Looking Glass for webbrowsing:
Browser3D and Googler.

However there is no Instant Messenger. There is Project Aim3d in the Incubator but this project seems to be suspend. I must contact the owner, because I would like to continue this project and use Smack API to connect to the Jabber service.

Regards,

Stanley
