Waw 1.2 Mbyte for the app, that's not 'embedded attitude' !

Check on v3i dev guide:
http://developer.motorola.com/docstools/developerguides/MOTORAZR_V3i_Dev...

states page 132: "Please note that the MIDlet will not install if the MIDlet-Data-Size is greater than 512k."

I am unable to load the app. I couldn't figure out the reason. Is the size the issue? I also have another custom made app that is 1.2MB. It is also not loading, though it is loading on other phones such as Samsung A900.

your suggestions are welcome. But I am sorry if this is already being discussed elsewhere.

Hi Christophe,

I haven't checked the document you are refering to but, as defined in the JSR 118, MIDlet-Data-Size corresponds to the "minimum number of bytes of persistent data required by the MIDlet." and not the jar size itself.
