How long for a project approval?

There is absolutely no indication of what is going on with project approval, I've been waiting as patiently as I could for about a week for: https://bean-properties.dev.java.net/ to come online and not even a word or an automated email letting me know that someone is working on it. I also saw no FAQ indicating the estimated period of time.
How long do new projects have to wait?
Is there something I did wrong in this particular project?
I tried sending feedback by email but still got no response so far.

Thanks.

i have found (over the past year or two) that it can vary from a few days to a week or two at the outside. In the meantime, you can access the project yourself of course, eg. to put up content and commit into the CVS.

I asked myself the same question. :) My project is also "pending approval".

My mistake when sending email to inquire about this status was that I sent it to the general site feedback of java.net rather than to the specific community leader. It just wasn't clear from the site who's approval I need to wait for ;-)
A link to a mini FAQ from the approval pending notice (in the newly created project home page) would go a long way in alleviating the annoyance of the wait.

Seems the best way when there is a delay is to just post to the right forum ;-)

Thanks.

Or contact community leads via e-mail. All the communities list their leaders on the main community page.
