Is there an inherited jMaki function to return the underlying widget of a jMaki instance? This would be handy when jMaki does not expose a feature of the widget and rather than hacking the jMaki code we could code around it in our app.

While jMaki is a great convenience and integration utility is often does not provide all of the features of the underlying widge, forcing one to hack the code, limiting the ability to upgrade jMaki or revert to the original cut/paste/edit technique.

Any widget instance can be accessed by calling jmaki.attributes.get(WIDGET_ID);

So if you manually set the the widget id you can then pick
it up. Try the following.

Let us know if that didn't work.
