3d max+java3D

hi all
i want to ask somone who already tested or know that:
i want to make a robot and use java3d to can put it in a 3d interactive program, so i want to ask
1-can the whole robot done using 3d studio max and loaded to java 3d

2-i know there are many loaders , but pls recommend me one as i don't know anyone of them

3-are the materials of the scene done by max , are going to be exported to java 3d also , or i'll need to make materialing and texturing again?

4-if the model is loaded in the j3d , can it be edited (Geometry itself ) by j3d , or by max?

hope to find a soultion here and i'll appereciate this

The geometry can be imported from max using a Starfire Research loader. The loader does not import the animation.

That can get tricky and depends upon how your model is set up. See the docs at the URL above.

no. It can be manipulated by your program.
