I have a jsp page containing a

When I click on the tabbedview to go to the image viewer page I can see the text but the jmaki.ibrowser is not displayed. If I go to the ImageViewer.jsp page directly then it works as expected.

How can I get the jmaki.ibrowser to work in the page when displayed in the tabbedview?

I reconstructed your example and I'm not having any problems using jMaki .6 Preview 3:

I have:

index.jsp:
<%@ taglib prefix="a" uri="http://java.sun.com/jmaki" %>

tab1.jsp

<%@ taglib prefix="a" uri="http://java.sun.com/jmaki" %>

It appears as expected.

Some questions:

Are you using more than 1 ibrowser in the page? If you are this could be a problem because the subpages will uses the same unique ID by default. This is a bug that needs to be addressed. What you can do if you think this is an issue is to manullay set the id to something unique for each instance.

Example:

If this doesn't help fix it can you let me know more ab out what browser what you are working with?

Thanks for the reply and suggestions.

The problem occurred with Firefox and Internet Explorer. I created the pages using NetBeans5.5, uses jMaki.5 so maybe that was the problem.

I downloaded jMaki .6 Preview 3 and ran the sample tabbedview program which does just what I want, so I have used that as a basis for my work.

Thank you for solving the problem.

John.

Yes, version .6 allows for composite jMaki widgets for the first time. Version .5 only allowed for basic HTML.
